THE SUCCESSORS OF CHINGIZ KHAN AND THEIR COINS

SARAY

Favourable arrangement of city on crossing of the basic trade ways from Europe in China and the states of Central Asia, have supplied a priority in development of this city in the Mongolian time. From middle XIII and prior to the beginning XV of centuries city the Shed remains by capital of the Golden Horde. The release of coins in Saray proceeded with small breaks during all time of existence of the state Golden Horde. It begins in middle XIII of century (about AD1255) and comes to an end in 30 years XV of century during division of the Golden Horde on Kazan, Crimean and Astrakhan goverment. The single releases, probably, are made up to middle XV of century
